Lit!Series is the Loft's new program for writers and readers featuring authors, agents, and editors. Our 50th anniversary weekend is all part of the first Lit!Series weekend featuring Roxane Gay (June 7–9). Registration/tickets are now on sale.

By popular request, Lit!Series weekend is offered à la carte. This means you must register for each aspect of the weekend you'd like to attend. Everything but the Saturday night event is sold on this page. Once available, the Saturday night conversation featuring Roxane Gay will be sold by O'Shaughnessy at St. Catherine's University and linked below.

Loft@50
The weekend will kickoff with a one-of-a-kind celebration of the Loft@50. These tickets are free and limited and we expect to fill very quickly. Don't miss out!
An Evening with Roxane Gay and J. Vanessa Lyon, Kelly Sundberg, and Lindsay Hunter
Saturday, June 8 will be headlined with a conversation at the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium at St. Kate's featuring Roxane Gay. She will be in conversation with three of her imprint authors J. Vanessa Lyon, Kelly Sundberg, and Lindsay Hunter. Tickets are $20 and must be registered separately through the O'Shaughnessy Box Office.
Agent and Editor Consultations
Our 3 visiting agents and visiting editor will be taking a limited number of consultations. You will be able to send five pages in advance and discuss them with the agent/editor one-on-one in your 16-minute meeting. Consultations are very limited and cost $125 each.
Agent Pitches
Pitch your work to one of our three visiting agents. They'll take the time to listen to your project and discuss some next steps with you. Pitches are 8 minutes long and cost $60 each.
Intensive Workshops
During the day on Saturday and Sunday, our three visiting writers (J. Vanessa Lyon, Kelly Sundberg, and Lindsay Hunter) will host feedback intensive classes for a limited number of students. You will be able to submit work in advance and get feedback during class. Students in these classes will also take part in lunch-and-learns both days (Saturday with Roxane Gay and Sunday with our visiting agents and editor). These classes will be $450.
Loft Lit!Series (June 7–9)
Our first Lit!Series weekend will celebrate 50 years at the Loft and highlight Roxane Gay and her imprint with Grove Atlantic, Roxane Gay Books. Registration is now open!
